Editors
Joseph M. Moxley (http://dmi.usf.edu/moxley)
is Professor of English at the University of South Florida (USF),
and Director of the Digital Media Institute. Moxley directed ETD 1999, and he has written numerous
essays and proposals regarding new media scholarship.
Moxley has published eleven books and over 50 articles in numerous
publications. He has received funding from the Department
of Education, Microsoft, Dell, and Time Warner to support learning
communities and new media scholarship. He presents workshops
on academic writing and publishing, ETDs, WAC, and learning communities.
Diane Masiello serves as the associate editor (dmasiello@ut.edu).
Masiello teaches composition at the University of Tampa. Masiello
is completing a year-long ethnographic study of students' writing
processes and products in a computerized classroom.
Dr. Edward A. Fox holds a Ph.D. and M.S. in Computer Science
from Cornell University, and a B.S. from M.I.T. Since 1983 he has
been at Virginia Tech, where he serves as Professor of Computer
Science. He directs the Networked Digital Library of Theses and
Dissertations (NDLTD), Internet Technology Innovation Center at
Virginia Tech, Digital Library Research Laboratory at Virginia
Tech, Computing and Information Technology Interactive Digital
Educational Library (CITIDEL), and other research and development
projects. In addition to his courses at Virginia Tech, Dr. Fox has
taught over 50 tutorials in more than 18 countries. He has given
over 400 talks, many on topics related to the ETD Guide.
Web Administrator
Terry Beavers (Ph.D., Univ. of Southern Mississippi) serves as
Technology Assessment Coordinator for Information Technologies
at USF. He also provides technical assistance, instructional skills,
and project development expertise to the DMI team.
Database Editors
Bruce Cochrane (Ph.D., Cornell) is a Professor
of Biology and Associate Dean of Academic Affairs.
Ilene Frank is Librarian for USF.
Graphics Designer
Mike Salmond is the graphic designer for
the site, developing the menu bar and site navigation. Mike
is a web designer for USF's department of Educational Outreach.
